Who we are

Paramita Therapeutics, Inc. (Paramita) is a Delaware C-corporation headquartered in San Diego, California. Founded in late 2018 by Dr. Sang Van and Dr. Jack Bui, our company launched operations in 2019. Our leadership team combines expertise in drug development, immunology, and oncology to drive our mission.

 Leadership Team:

• Dr. Sang Van, CEO: A seasoned expert in drug development with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Van holds more than 20 US patents for innovations in polymer drug/peptide/lipid conjugates and nanoparticles. He is the inventor of multivalent drug conjugates, a core technology driving our mission. Notably, Dr. Van led the development of a paclitaxel-drug polymer conjugate from concept to non-GLP toxicology studies in the US.

• Dr. Jack Bui, CSO: As a faculty member at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Bui brings over 25 years of immunology research expertise, with a focus on cancer vaccines, immunology, and microbiology. He has tested numerous drug compounds in clinical trials, leveraging his extensive knowledge.

 Together, Drs. Van and Bui harness their expertise to drive our mission: replacing traditional chemotherapy with our proprietary multivalent drug conjugates, known as "Smart Chemotherapy".
